Restorative Plasticity At Corticostriatal Excitatory Synapses

REPLACES is an HEALTH project funded by VII Framework Programme of the European Union

FP7

Replaces

REPLACES will focus on the molecular and biological mechanisms underlying brain plasticity and repair that may occur in neurodegenerative diseases, that range among the most costly brain disorders in Europe.

Phases and objectives

The overall aim of the project will be to characterize corticostriatal synaptic plasticity from molecular aspects to clinical neurophysiology, involving behavioural as well as morphological analysis of the basal ganglia system.
